Thirty health professionals
of the Pyrenees participated in the “Course of Interventions for the Promotion of Healthy Lifestyles in the Sick Complex”, which was held in Alp, in the Health Region of the High Pyrenees – Aran.
The training was organized by Dr. Marta Prats and Dr. Carmen Moreno, and in which different members of the NURSEARCH group participated such as Dr. Teresa Lluch, Dr. Montserrat Puig and Dr. Zaida Agüera.
The activity is being carried out for the first time in the territory with the aim that the attendees acquire skills to promote healthy lifestyles and, in this way, have more tools to prescribe physical activity and healthy eating habits when improving the emotional well-being of people with chronic pathology.
The course, which has filled the 30 places it had on offer, is promoted by the Cerdanya Hospital, the Catalan Health Service, the Public Health Agency of Catalonia in Lleida and Alt Pirineu – Aran, and has had the collaboration of the Catalan Institute of Health and the University of Barcelona, and with funding from the Provincial Council of Lleida.
This training is aligned with the 2021-2025 Health Plan of the Alt Pirineu Health Region.
