Last June 29, 2023
the second NURSEARCH GROUP WORKSHOP titled: Nursing Care in Mental Health: “Exploring new research European horizons” was held at the School of Nursing, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences of the Bellvitge Campus (Hospitalet de Llobregat).
Members of the Mental Health Nursing Care line of the NURSEARCH group took part in this work meeting together with the Swedish researchers, Dra. Agent Schröder and Dr. Lars-Ollov Lundqvist. The purpose of this II Workshop was to discuss the perspectives of mental health nursing care and the design and adaptation of assessment instruments. On the part of the Swedish group, they are currently carrying out cross-sectional studies where they use the Quality in Psychiatric instruments
Care together with those of perceived stress, job satisfaction and burnout syndrome and have completed the validation of the instrument “Verbal Social Interaction Questionnaire for Psychiatric Outpatient Care (VSI-OP).
From the Spanish team they are invited to participate in the study of the Reserved Therapeutic Space with the aim of being able to carry out a European multicentre study.
At the end of the session, the III Workshop is scheduled for September 2023 to continue debating and sharing experiences and concerns of nursing research in mental health.
